CV Mendong Jaya establish in 1994 in Tasikmalaya,West Java. One of handicraft center in West Java. CV. Mendong Jaya was founded by Zaenal Muttaqin who is the Director and Owner. CV Mendong Jaya is consist of two word Mendong comes from of the mendong plant or Fimbristylish Globulosa a type of grass that lives in swamps and one of our main material for making product. Jaya means prosperous, we want to bring prosperity for the community through economy empowerment, given a decent job to skill that already community have.

CV Mendong Jaya specialized for making mendong woven. We make mendong woven into various product such as hotel slipper, boxes, basket, tray, hat etc.

Our main market currently is hotel and retail store/wholesaler. We continue for innovation in both weaving and product.
