MADU stool

The word madu is Indonesian for honey. The design of the Madu stool is based on the natural and complex honeycomb. The challenge of the Maduwas to use small rattan cores  – only 10 mm – to create a massive and strong structure based on the honeycomb shapes. The Maduis yet another inspiration from nature that provoked me to innovate with natural materials.
